Pricing Policy

Introduction

BLOX operates a platform where you can buy and sell crypto assets. BLOX stores and manages these crypto assets on your behalf through Stichting BLOX Custody. If you choose to use the yield services offered by BLOX, BLOX also facilitates the transfer of your crypto assets. For these services, BLOX holds a license from the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM).

When buying and selling crypto assets, you enter into a transaction with BLOX as your counterparty. You are buying from and selling to BLOX. BLOX aims to offer customers the best possible service at a fair and transparent price. This document describes our pricing policy, including the fees applicable to our services.

Quoting

There is no single price for crypto assets. Each liquidity provider offers different prices. BLOX generates a reference price using one or more liquidity providers and adds a price guarantee spread to offer you a fair and market-compliant price.

The price retrieved by BLOX from liquidity providers is adjusted with a price guarantee spread. This spread is dynamic and asymmetric, and it is determined per crypto asset. It takes into account various factors such as volatility, order book depth, and trading volume. Based on these risk factors, the spread ranges from 0 to 100 basis points.

Transaction fees are added to this reference price to determine your final quote. These transaction fees amount to 0.25% of the requested quote.

The reference price is included in the quoted price. The transaction fees are charged separately during settlement. This is clearly and transparently displayed during the transaction process, before your payment.

Yield Services

If you opt for yield services to earn additional returns on your crypto assets, you will receive a fixed reward at that time. This fixed reward may change over time. Any changes will be communicated to you in advance.

By choosing yield services, you enter into a lending agreement with Coinmerce Earn. Coinmerce Earn manages the risk of your crypto assets and charges variable fees. These fees are deducted from the yield on your assets, but do not affect the fixed reward you receive.

Deposit and Withdrawal Fees

The costs for depositing euro funds depend on your chosen payment method and cover BLOX's administrative and banking expenses. BLOX applies the following fees:

BLOX does not charge fees for withdrawing your euro balance to your bank account.

Other Fees

BLOX does not charge additional fees for the custody and management services provided by Stichting BLOX Custody or for the transfer services of crypto assets.
