What is Zebec Network?

How does Zebec Network work?

Within Zebec, payments are recorded via smart contracts. Those contracts ensure that funds are not sent all at once, but in a continuous stream. As long as the conditions are met, the payments continue. If a contract is terminated, the money flow stops immediately.

Zebec is set up as a multichain platform but primarily runs on Solana. This enables fast processing and low costs, which is important for applications where many small payments occur. For users, the system therefore feels more like a digital payment infrastructure than a traditional crypto app.

The ZBCN token

ZBCN is the token of the Zebec Network and forms the economic layer of the protocol. The token is used for:

ZBCN is not a means of payment for salaries or streams themselves but supports the operation and management of the network. In doing so, the token primarily fulfills an infrastructure role within Zebec.

ZBCN was created after a token migration in 2024. In this process, the original ZBC tokens were exchanged for ZBCN at a ratio of 1:10, after which the old ZBC tokens were burned.
