BLOX discontinues Movement (MOVE) and Ethereum PoW (ETHW)
News for our MOVE and ETHW holders: from November 10, 2026 at 11:00 we will stop offering Movement (MOVE) and Ethereum PoW (ETHW).
We regularly evaluate which coins we offer based on, among other things, user interest, trading volume and market liquidity. Despite our efforts to continue supporting MOVE and ETHW, trading volume and liquidity have unfortunately not improved.
Therefore we have decided not to offer these two coins on BLOX from November 10, 2026. Below you can read what this means for you.
What does this mean for you?
It is no longer possible to buy MOVE and ETHW via BLOX and from November 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM we will completely stop offering the coins. We offer you the opportunity to sell your MOVE and/or ETHW coins until then as you are accustomed to. We will not charge any trading fees for this. After that, the coins will be entirely removed from BLOX's offerings.
Do you still have MOVE or ETHW balances in your BLOX vault after that time? Then we are forced to sell these balances at around 11:00 at the then prevailing price and credit the euro balances to your BLOX account.
Note: We strive to keep sales available for as long as possible. However, due to the declining liquidity of MOVE and ETHW, we cannot rule out that an earlier sale will be necessary. This depends on market conditions and is always done in the interest of our customers.
Do you have an Earn Account?
Through Sunday November 8 2026 you will still receive 0.25% yield on MOVE and/or a 1.5% yield on ETHW. The accrued yield will be paid out the next morning as you are used to.
Withdrawal to personal wallet (from 40,000 MOVE and 1,200 ETHW)
Movement (MOVE)
Do your MOVE holdings represent a balance of 40,000 or more? Then you can submit a request by November 9, 2026 to have your Movement (MOVE) sent to a personal wallet.
We charge fees for sending your coins. These fees are deducted from the amount of MOVE to be sent and amount to 800 MOVE.
Ethereum PoW (ETHW)
Do your ETHW holdings represent a balance of 1,200 or more? Then you can submit a request until and including November 9, 2026 to have your Ethereum PoW (ETHW) sent to a personal wallet.
We charge a fee for sending your coins. This fee is deducted from the amount of ETHW to be sent and amounts to 25 ETHW.
Verification of your personal wallet
Before we can send your Movement (MOVE) and Ethereum PoW (ETHW) to your personal wallet, we must, under applicable laws and regulations, establish that you are the owner of this personal wallet. To establish this, you must, among other things, share a screenshot that clearly shows you are the owner of this personal wallet.
For the sake of completeness we point out that with your personal wallet you are solely responsible for the custody and security of your coins and for carrying out any transactions with them. Please note that you are also liable for network fees on such a transaction.
