Important update for Tether (USDT) due to new MiCAR regulations

We have an important update for you as a USDT holder. Due to changes in laws and regulations, specifically the new European MiCAR legislation, it will no longer be possible to purchase Tether (USDT) through BLOX starting January 1, 2025.

What does this mean for you?

On June 30, 2024, the European MiCAR legislation came into effect, requiring stablecoins to have legal approval from that date onward. Since Tether (USDT) does not have the necessary approval, we are required to temporarily restrict certain functionalities of this coin. This means we are implementing some changes, which we have outlined below for you.

As of January 1, 2025, you will no longer be able to purchase Tether (USDT) through BLOX.
You can continue to hold, sell and lend your USDT as usual.
