How is the price of Stellar determined?
The Stellar price is determined by supply and demand. Buyers and sellers meet each other through online international crypto exchanges. Based on all their combined buys and sells, an average XLM price is established.
There are several factors that influence the supply and demand, and therefore the price. For example: the news. Positive news about Stellar can have an equally positive effect on the price. If the software is improved for instance, this can enhance the overall trust in the project, which can lead to a higher demand and therefore a higher price.
FOMO can be another factor. FOMO stands for Fear Of Missing Out. You hear everybody talking about Stellar. All your friends and even your grandparents are buying Stellar. You don’t want to be left out and decide to join the club. It’s a chain reaction, which again results in a higher demand, leading to a price increase.
